More about the author...
- I recently graduated with a B.A. in Molecular and
Cell Biology (Emphasis: Cell Development Biology) from the
University of California,
Berkeley . I hope to use my knowledge in this field to
better help society by going to LAW SCHOOL or by writing.
However, I am
currently looking for ANY job (preferably one that is
full-time, will provide reasonable financial compensation, does
not involve a paper hat and deep-fryer, is within reasonable driving
distance, i.e. less than two hours, has a good health plan, pays
overtime,
requires tremendous creativity and independence, and matches me up
with amazingly kind co-workers) so that I won't have to live in my
car if I can't pay my rent.
- I was born in La Jolla, California and moved to that suburban sprawl
of legend, the San Fernando Valley (affectionately referred to
as "The Valley") north of Los Angeles when I was two years old (my
parents came along, too). My family has lived in the quiet,
middle-class suburban neighborhood of West Hills for over 17
years now, with its views of the dry, rocky hills that make up the
rim of the West Valley.
- I attended
Van Nuys High School, where I was given the kernels of wisdom and
the fruits of knowledge to help me cope with life here at UC Berkeley:
the astonishing novelty and diversity of experiences, especially in
contrast to suburban SoCal, the unparalleled and world-reknowned
bureaucracy, and my sadly increasing mediocrity.
- Since there does not seem to be a recent picture of me available, I
will try to describe myself to you:
SAM. Black/brown. 6' tall and reasonably athletic
nonsmoker. Not balding. VIRGO. College graduate from an
institution that
used to be respectable. Enjoys avoiding long walks through dark,
stench-filled alleys, watching TV by romantic candlelight, big hair,
snowboarding.

Seeking SF with COMMON INTERESTS who is fun-loving
without having to spend lots of money, intelligent but not overbearing,
attractive but not too good-looking so as not to make me feel like
she's "settling", over 4'0", under 6'8",
FLEXIBLE, willing to take a bullet, looks good in red,
nice teeth, nonsmoker, nondrinker (except for water and healthy
stuff...well, maybe the occasional beverage), not a carrier of a
genetic disease whose alleles may be passed on to any of our
subsequent spawn (certain single amino acid point mutations in genome
OK; frameshifts=no dice). MUST HAVE CAR!
- I am currently living on Telegraph right next to Annapurna (a
store where they sell weird merchandise and have window displays that
usually depict headless mannequin bondage/S&M-type activities).
