Not 400 hrs of > learning, just 400 hrs. > My insurrance company requires a TT of 750, 250 in retract, and 25 for make and model for an un named pilot to fly the Debonair. The first break in rates is for 600 tt and a yearly total of over 75 (it's close to 75 but I forget the specific number) I get something like a 15% deduction for TT, 15% for hours flown per year, 15% for time in make and model, and 5% for the instrument rating. No, I don't need to really log time to qualify for any ratings, but I still log when flying safety pilot. For one thing if some one that I flew with had to account for those hours I could verify theirs with my logging. Roger > Regards, > Stan > >
